REVIVAL

It's a very long time since I began this blog.
It was intended to be a place where you could share your photos and moments of 'crafty' happiness you have with your pets. As mine are now outside fish and anything to do with nature ie birds, animals etc it became increasingly difficult for me to find photos or indeed to take photos especially with any animal remotely associated with craft.
However, over the last - very long time, I find several new acquaintances have pets, especially puss cats, so I wonder whether you want to join in every so often to show us all your wonderful companions and this show me whether I should bother resurrecting this blog.

A BIG PUSSCAT

I've been meaning to post this picture for a while but things have been a little fraught around here of late. However, today is the day to show you THE  most amazing x-stitch of a gorgeous tiger. Here goes:
told you. Is this not the best needlework you have ever seen? My lovely friend, Sylvia, in Devon -you know, the lady who makes incredible patchwork quilts - has this in her home. Here's the twist though, she didn't make it, her husband did............ I've met some talented men crafters of late, but never one so brilliant at needlework. Well done Reg, you are one talented man.
Let's have a little twist this week then. What animal projects have the men in your family made? Leave a comment with a link to where you are showing their work and we will come by and take a look.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU JUMP IN A MUDDY PUDDLE

This is the most adorable doggy. He belongs to our daughter and son-in-law and his name is HUXLEY. The character on this dog is amazing and he seems to love his grandad, jumping into his arms each time they meet.
So why the bath?? Huxley had a brilliant time on Saturday morning during his walk, but unfortuately found a few too many muddy puddles to jump in. Oh dear Hux, when will you learn!!!
Follow Huxley on Twitter at #huxleybobs for more fun and games.
Do you have a picture to share this week? Leave a comment together with a link to where you are showing it and we will come along for a nosey.

MRS BLACKIE HAVING A REST

I am sure that if I sat still long enough, this female blackbird would eat from my hand. If I go to where I feed the birds and she is down, she never flies away, instead, she just looks at me and then carries on eating. She is so confident that I won't harm her and I find that quite humbling and exciting. Having said that about her, she is a bit of a nuisance sometimes and  I have to tell her off because she will insist on helping me to garden. I don't think that emptying the plant pots I have just filled is really helping though!!!
So who is helping you this week. After a little break there must be some new helpers out there. Leave a comment with a link to your photos so we can come and have a look.

ANGEL TED

Just see who's looking after my Distress Markers:
How adorable is this angel. Ted came to live with me yesterday having been created by my super talented step-daughter Paula. If you zoom in you can see the perfect hand stitching. I love this little bear and I love Paula too. Thank you.
So, who is your little pal this week. Perhaps someone new has come to live with you and care for your craft goodies. Do share your pal's picture with us this week.

WE HAD A POORLY VISITOR

My DH nipped out yesterday to his daughter's and found this on our path when he came home:
I'm not 100% sure what bird it is, but think it's either a coal tit or a marsh tit. We both knew it was poorly otherwise it would have tried to fly off. It had either flown into something or was old because there wasn't a mark on it.
He turned a big plant pot on its side and placed the bird in it together with some special seed mix, and a little shallow dish of water just to the side. I kept an eye on everything whilst cooking dinner, but sadly the little bird came out, turned round and then slipped away. I was heart broken and rushed out to it.
Today I will bury it along with a few flowers. So sad, but that's life as they say.
I hope your little pals are more energetic this week. Please do join in and share them with us.
