LIEBSTER AWARD

The lovely Keryn (just love her name) read today's post and sent me this special award. Thank you so much Keryn, this is really appreciated.
The concept behind the award is this:
"Liebster" in German means "dearest". the idea of the Liebster Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.
Both my blogs are only little but full of fun. (try my other here).
To accept this award, you must:
1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.
2) Post the award to your blog.
3) Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
4) Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know.

These are the blogs I have chosen:

Lindsay Mason - a talented crafter who has taught me much of what I know and is a treasured friend.
Wicked Wednesday ATCs - run by Jenn, this amazing little challenge blog gives my mind a thorough workout, every week.
Heather Fenn-Edwards - an expert beader who has become a friend despite having introduced me to millions of beads - and a parrot!
Sioux - inspirational crafter who not only lives in my most favourite part of our country but who also shares her art visions, prompting us to look around.
ATCs and Cards with Attitude - this little blog gave me my first Design Team position. For that I am very grateful.

Enjoy your award, you all deserve it. x

JUST WATCHING ME

My crafting pal today looks down on me while I sit at my computer. Here he is keeping a watchful eye on me.
He rather likes being high up and sometimes gets to watch the tv when I have it on. He especially likes the craft programmes.
What is your pal doing? Leave a comment together with a link to where you are showing them, so we can all come and see.  x

I DID WARN THEM

Well, last week I reported that we had had a buzzard in the garden. Through the week more and more of these have appeared:
Look at the little black bits amongst the dirt of the winter. Also here:

A little blurred, but you can make out feathers all over the bare stems of a clematis.
Further towards the front of the garden are 2 more patches. I daren't look today to whether there are any more. My guess is the black feathers belong to starlings who come down in their dozens. I was so worried they belonged to Mr Blackie, but I've seen both him and his missus.
So, I'm afraid I have no little buddies to show you this week, just where some have been.
What are your pals up to this week? Leave a comment with the link to where you are showing them off so we can come along and have a look. x

LOOK WHAT LANDED IN MY GARDEN YESTERDAY

Well at least a relative of this magnificent bird did.
I was out all day at a friend's so didn't see the buzzard, but my hubby was at the kitchen sink when he looked out to see him feeding where we put the bird food. What a sight that must have been. Our little birds had better watch out though.
Who has come calling at your house this week?
Leave a comment together with a link to where you are showing your visitor so we can all pop over to meet them.
